Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born on February 20, 1902 in San Fransisco, California. He died on April 22, 1984 in Monterey, California. He went to Harvard and Yale University for his education. He is known for his black and white photos. Ansel Adams was known as a photographer, writer, and lecturer. He started to write an autobiography but died before he finished it. Then his editor, Mary Street Alinder finished it in 1985. Some of the 100,000 cards and letter that he wrote were kept and made into Letters and Images which was published in 1988.
