Shutterbug

I chose to explore the PetaPixel website. The intention was to inform people about different stories and information related to photography. The website writes about different cameras and photography supplies that is new and pictures that different people took. People can learn about the history of photography such as how the camera worked a long time ago and how different parts of the camera work. The website also writes about different photographers and how they took good pictures. For example, one of the stories showed a man taking a picture out of a helicopter. There are also reviews about different products used for certain kinds of photography and new lenses or cameras. I think this website is useful if I need inspiration for photos or ways to get certain effects in a picture. I would recommend this website to photographers or people who are trying to learn more about photography. On a scale of 1-5 I would give this website a 5 because I think it includes many things and it is a

Self Portrait vs. Selfie

Image
1. A selfie is a picture someone takes of themselves usually using the front camera. 2. A self portrait is a picture of someone that can be taken by using a timer on a camera or taken by someone else. 3. There is a difference because selfies are usually taken with the front camera and self portraits are usually taken with the back camera. 4. I feel like self portraits look better, but selfies are more convenient and easy to take. 5. I don't think one of them is more important than the other.

Welcome back to 2018!

I like this photo and it was one of my favorites that I saw because the volcano and the lightning looked really cool. The photo almost looks unrealistic and/or fake.     This photo was one of my favorites because it displays many mixed emotions. I think it is funny how everyone has a different face. I think this picture is really cool because I have never seen a glacier before just sitting in the ocean. I think my favorite song was Love So Soft by Kelly Clarkson. I didn't discover this song until the end of the year but I have definitely listened to it a lot. I got to see Kelly Clarkson live at the Moody theatre for ACL live in early December. When I saw Kelly Clarkson live it made me appreciate her songs way more. This picture is her singing at ACL live. My favorite movie from 2017 was Daddy's Home 2. This was my favorite because it was really funny. I really liked all the actors in the movie and the characters they portra

Nyctophobia- fear of the dark Spheksophobia- fear of wasps C. For Decidophobia I could take a picture of a menu or other object with many options. For fear of heights I could go to the top of a tall building in Austin and take a picture looking down. For fear of the dark I could take a picture at night with someone holding a flashlight. Decidophobia- For fear of making decisions I could  take a picture of a menu showing many different options. I could also take of picture of someone standing in front if a white board showing two options on the board. Another thing I could do would be to take a picture of a road sign that shows different directions or different roads.  Altophobia- For fear of heights I could go to the top of a tall building and take a picture looking down form the top of the
